Job Description
OVERVIEW
Our client, a multinational retail brand in Dubai, is looking for an E-commerce Lead who will be responsible for managing the entire website and e-commerce function.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing and maintaining the e-commerce website
Managing all e-commerce activities in relation to improving user experience, integration of plugins, development of pages, product uploads and database upkeep
Working closely with the Marketing Manager on the digital marketing ideas and tools in order to improve the overall website quality and traffic acquisition, sales and conversion
Identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues to ensure high performance
Skills
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Proven experience as a ASP.NET Developer with minimum 3 years of strong experience in .NET technologies
Strong experience in JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML, Bootstrap and CSS3
Good understanding on UX, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Google Analytics
In-depth knowledge of all phases of website development life cycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support
Experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Sales Force CRM platform is an advantage
Good understanding of Microsoft SQL Server Database related to creation of stored procedures, functions, triggers and views.
Excellent troubleshooting and ability to write functional codes with a sharp eye for spotting defects
Ability to learn and work with other technologies (other than .Net) based on department needs
Strong in MS excel, with analytical and numerical skills
Good communication skills, attention to details, adaptable and ability to work in a team
