Based within the Finance Department and reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will have the following key responsibilities:
Project (also called, Matter) Initiation
Working alongside the ‘Segment Finance’ and ‘Conflict check’ teams in US to set up matter codes through verification of details on the CRM system, called ‘Sales Force’ by following the appropriate approval matrix.
Revenue & Time sheets
Review of client contracts / proposals / engagement letters as applicable, through coordination with Project Manager and Senior Managing Directors (SMDs) to ensure, we have satisfactory evidence to recognize revenue as per FTI’s policies.
Recording and analysis of the monthly and year-to-date revenue of the Delta segment across the globe.
As timesheets of employees are essential to recognize revenue, this role will require constant review of time sheets reports to track submission and following up with employees for non-submission.
Preparation of monthly invoices for clients and ensuring invoicing is done as per the delivery milestones mentioned on the engagement letter.
Regular analysis of accounts receivables by client and by SMDs (Senior Managing Directors) and constantly monitoring the ageing of receivable.
Summarization of billable project expenses and coordination with Project Manager to bill them to the clients.
Generation of month-end statement of accounts and reconciliations for clients, as required
Ensuring a smooth collection process which involves direct coordination with client and/or key company stakeholders of the account and ensuring any potential delays or bad debts are escalated on a timely basis.
Working alongside the Financial controller to provide documents and commentary to external and internal auditors on the annual audit and review of revenue & accounts receivable.
Preparation of the weekly dashboard which covers KPIs for collections, contracts, accruals, DSOs for the CFO.
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts such as accounts receivable, accrued revenue, client advances, provisions, etc.
Preparation of other related financial analysis / adhoc reports as required.
Experience and skills:
Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
Qualified chartered accountant or a major degree in finance.
Excellent analytical ability
