Job Description
As an investment Sourcing Analyst you will find and evaluate global investment opportunities, get exposure to the next wave of innovative technologies changing the largest asset class in the world, and work closely with the founders in developing the industry’s most comprehensive proptech start-up portfolio.
Responsibilities:
o Deal Sourcing and screening: Find, call and/or meet with prospects, evaluate opportunities
o Documentation: summaries call notes, enter deals into DBs
o Network with peers in Venture Capital Firms
o Select ProTech verticals themes (ConTech, Smart City, Co-living, Prop FinTech, etc)
o Perform initial due diligence
o Gather information from the target start-up and industry experts
o Research and talk to existing references and customers of the target start-up
o Research potential competitors to the target company
o Research and talk with technical/business consultants to evaluate the target company’s technology including IPs
o Conduct background checks on the current management of the target company
Skills
Skills:
• Analytical and strategic-thinking skills, combined with excellent business judgment
. 2-3 Years VC Experience
• Experience with portfolio management databases
• Strong knowledge of Excel,
• Ability to produce well designed professional looking PowerPoint presentations
• Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
